Your TO-DO-LIST To Be A Real Estate Agent In Arizona

Sep 16

If you’ve been wondering how to become a real estate agent in Arizona, you’ve come to the right place. Let’s first start by getting a good understanding of the role a salesperson plays in a real estate transaction.

Simply put, a real estate agent acts as the intermediary between a buyer and a seller of a property. Specifically, real estate agents help clients find homes that match their personal and financial profiles.

Once a property of interest is identified, the agent will negotiate a contract with the seller for terms that align with their client’s interest. Agents can also work on behalf of their clients to find rental properties or units to lease.

The opportunity in Arizona’s real estate market

Phoenix currently has one of the hottest real estate markets in the US. The city has demonstrated an impressive level of resiliency versus the economic turmoil caused by the COVID-19 pandemic.

In July 2021, market reports showed that Phoenix home prices rose by 29.5% versus a year ago, selling at a median price of $395k. That’s about $100k below the median home prices of neighboring states and buyer demand keeps reaching new highs.

Needless to say, this presents ample opportunities for real estate brokers to build a potential lucrative real estate business. So if you want to learn how to become a real estate agent in Arizona, let’s get started.
