What is a Marketing Funnel

Apr 6

What is a marketing funnel and why is it important for every online marketer create one?

It's a marketing strategy that you employ to persuade potential customers to buy your products. It's a sales process by which a person visits your website seeking information that could aid in solving a specific issue. However, via certain tools, you will be able to establish a relationship with each person who visits your blog.

This will allow you to better understand the needs of every visitor. This will enable you to provide the most accurate information possible to every visitor. When you have gained the trust of a potential customer the person will be more confident purchasing items. This visitor will then become a customer.

Many customers become regular customers and are more likely to purchase every product on your website. A marketing funnel includes all of the steps required to bring a frequent user of your site into a loyal client and buy every product that you sell.

For any internet marketer that is their final objective. A well-designed funnel will achieve this very quickly.

Your marketing efforts are capturing the attention of people, and bringing them to your funnel. The funnel is opened once they fill out the forms on your PERSONAL lead capture page. I say "personal" because no one will ever opt-in to your lead capture for business page. They are looking to become a leader, and not a company.

The page for lead capture acts as the entry point into the funnel. Clicking the "Sign Up now" as well as "Enter Here" buttons will open a new realm of network marketing.

It is their decision. It's their choice. They don't have to buy you as a mentor or leader. You can also show them ways to get more leads and cash into their businesses.

This is how a typical advertising funnel works.

The "front-end" The "front-end" is where you create a free offer that will attract and qualify potential customers who might be interested in buying your product later in the sales funnel. To get your product for free, sign up (also known as opt-in) and give your name and email address. In turn, you will add them to your email list.

Now, you have these contacts in your email list and you can send them related promotions that may be of interest to them.

Right after sign-up for the free offer they will be taken to a page that has a low-cost offer, also known as trip wire offers. This is where they will be taken to the "backend" of funnel.

They are taken to a similar offer with a lower price if they purchase the low-priced offer (also called an upsell). Anyone who buys the cheaper offer will be directed to the next comparable product at a more expensive price. You can continue this process for many more.
